I've got this love/hate thing going with Vanillaware. I don't know what it is about their games, but I keep playing them and hoping. This will be no different, I know, but I'm along for the ride anyway.

DC reminds me of Crystal of Kings, a good arcade game that never got ported.
The in-game art actually looks even better than the portraits, IMO. No complaining from me.

I am scared to death of this game. It looks fantastic, but Vanillaware is like a pack of sirens that sing in sprites to lure you into gameplay wreckage.
Seriously. They fooled me with Odin Sphere, never again.
