Yeah, the lack of cross buy is doing these publishers more harm than good if I am even remotely not alone. I would have bought MLB 13 day one for $60 if it had cross buy. Instead, I have waited, and now my interest shrinks as baseball season goes deeper, so I probably won't buy it at all. I could see the same thing happening here. Best case for them is that I may buy both copies for $20 each, instead of the $60 they would have gotten for cross buy. I can't be the only one.

edit: NFS: Most Wanted is another. $60 is now $10 if they release the PC version on Steam. Otherwise, it's $0.

Everyone else. If you have enough money to spend on a handheld in 2013, you have enough money to buy two versions of the same game. But it's not really a choice anyway because nobody plays anything on PS3 regardless, so that makes all the bitching doubly irrelevant.

I would crossbuy it day one to play it myself on the Vita and then do local co-op on the PS3. I don't think it'll suck like Odin Sphere and even if it does co-op almost always helps.

As is I might wait for a sale on the Vita one and then wait until the PS3 version hits $10.

I've never been burnt buying a Vanillaware game because I've never bought one before. But this is the lavishly animated hand I've been waiting for. All in for the PS3 version, day one. Chronicles of Mystara, once it's released next month, will have to tide me over 'till August.
