If you were at EVO, the Akuma vs Akuma matchup was the best one. (Just kidding Hakkan and then Akuma vs Akuma). The sound of HEET with every fireball echoed throughout the main ballroom as the entire crowd shouted it when it was coming. Sometimes even the HEET HEET. It was pretty hilarious.
Also Icarus I ended up with like no swag, I have my shirt and that's it :/.
I can write up some more later but for now I went 3-2 in Persona, beat my Korean player in a close match first thing in the morning. Then walked through my pool until Winner's finals where I fought Bill 307 who is a really good Teddie, and I have almost no matchup experience against a good Teddie. I tried to prepare but my preparation was lacking it seems.
Then I lost to a Japanese Mitsuru in Loser's finals that I am pretty ashamed to have lost to. Oh well, NEC is next. My fundamentals are still pretty weak, not to mention I'm not good at picking up on Individual player habits/tendencies fast enough. 0-2 in Street Fighter, which I'm not surprised about considering I really haven't practiced it.
Also other than Injustice, all the finals were really hype (Only the Chris G fights were really that interesting in Injustice oddly enough).

Chris G plays Green Arrow. Hate if you will, he really isn't that much of a tier whore player. He MADE moridoom top tier, they didn't start that way.

I have a lot of respect for Chris G as a player. I don't know why I said that to be honest. I was rooting for him to win the whole thing, especially over KDZ.
But it was dumb having the crowd boo KDZ for how he won the matches. I don't think I like NRS fans very much.
Guess this is the best place to put this.
