I always forget about losers. It's a weird tournament format (I like it though)

What? It' a double elimination tournament. It's the standard format. What's different is that because this is a major, there are separate pools. While if you win you stay in winners and if you lose once you'll be in losers, smaller pools make the tournament run way faster. Last time I was in a non-separated tournament with over 200 people it took literally 21 hours to finish. I got eliminated by around the 16th or 17th hour. I could have died then and there.

Eh, if it is what I think it is and he tries it in an actual match he'll forfeit the match and the glitch will be banned on the spot.

Redo of the match at worst. You can't punish people for breaking a rule that isn't invented yet, especially not in this day and age.
