In defense of 70s robots and why this movie is awesome.
It doesnt matter. Even if they put up half the rest of the money exists and was invested by someone. All those parties need to get their investment back along with a profit or its not a profitable movie.
How can so many people on TNL not understand that if something was bought for ten dollars it needs to sell for more than ten dollars or its a loss? It doesn't matter how many people went in on it, if it sells for eight dollars it lost two dollars.

saw it for the third time with son.he loved it.I still don't understand the whole "I couldn't see" complaints. I saw every detail of every fight just fine. only time you don't really see much is when they land in the water. and even after the third time,I was still excited to see it, and I still loved it, and my wife loved it too.
I don't think I could ever get tired of seeing chernov drop the people's elbow.
I sarcastically asked you to go on more about Hollywood business. I didn't think you were dumb enough to actually do it.
There's only one person who I heard say that, and he was universally dismissed as an imbecile. This movie is a LOT less cut to shit than most movies. A lot of the violence is quick, but not cut. We see him blow open that one kaiju point blank.

If you really think you need magical insider knowledge of any industry to understand that revenues minus investments equals profits than nothing I say is going to matter. Probably nothing anyone says to you has ever mattered much.
Doesn't matter. Drew's a thief.
