grabbed it on blue ray.jeezuz christ dol was right, this thing is gorgeous. even after like....8 10 viewings, i love this movie. and the more i watch it, the more anime this thing is, and the more i love it.

especially the Russians. for some reason i really liked cherno alpha and was disappointed when it got slaughtered. i think it was the peoples elbow and the roll of nickels it had in its hand.

I love their Votom-looking helmets, too.

All you ever get to know about them is pulled from just the barest little subtleties, but they're still more interesting than anybody in The Notebook.

Saw this the other day. I hate to say this in this day and age, but this should have been a couple of movies, or a series. Too much mythos went completely unexplored and characters were there and gone without anything to grab hold of.
