Yeah I can't wait for this movie.

I wished they made Gundam/Macross movies at this point though given this and current movie making technology.

I dont even mind that they are showing a decent amount of stuff. because really they aren't showing anything. just robots and monsters going at it, this could totally turn into a Planet of the apes thing, with the entire movie being something else entirely, and the third act being all robot mayhem. which i would'nt mind at all.

Macross Frontier had some pretty impressive CG cell shaded stuff in it.

I kind of hope the US never gets its hands on actually making a macross live action movie. Hollywood would ruin the dept of the original love triangle and the over all frustration of life and war. It would be Pearl Harbor or windtalkers with robots.
