Let's write Buttplant a disclaimer. If you've got a better one, post it. Here's mine -

There. Put this into your blog post template and that's the last you have to think about it.
You know what, I've been "blogging" a song every day on facebook for like, months now. I'm going to just convert it into a real blog. I listen to music for like 3 hours a day anyway and I like finding a song of the day for every day, and then I can toss in album reviews or whatever if I feel like it. Making it nice to look at is a pain in the ass.
Also: anyone have any basic advice or a good article to link to about making your blog interesting to read? Should I bother using anything other than blogspot?
I almost flooded that first post with links all over, but that would be hella annoying.
I'd imagine to just start writing. Eventually you'll be rereading what you wrote and you'll like certain things more than others and start to build off of that and develop a style.
Whether it's enjoyable to read or not is up to the subject matter and how you approach it.
With the proper brain behind it data entry could be incredibly fun to read a blog about. But that person is hard to come by. Just ask yourself if you're adding anything to the world by doing this. If you are, and it makes you feel good, then keep doing it.
