I take Shopping Mall as third. The boss' long blue needle/red spread attack gives me trouble sometimes, but it's still preferable to the double Satoru barrage. Found this browsing through a Japanese STG site:

So that's what, 4000 'scales' in a full meter? Pretty sure 500 is the cube max as well.

Mode7, since you own the original pcb, can you tell me which is the best emu ( cavemame i suppose, even if it's by no means perfect)?

God damn! First time I play it since I got my last high score, and I spank it! Shame that I suck so badly at Level 4 since I never play it (I only do one-credit playthroughs, so I get no practice on it) that I got destroyed in seconds (the trains whooped my ass).

Stage 3 boss whooped my ass and left me with one hit left, whereupon I made it all the way through stage 4 without getting hit until my unpracticed boss skills got me smacked again.

Whatup, Mode! So how is milking cheap? I mean I thought any way you could make points was fair game. Like the bullet trick in DDP where you can allow more bullets to fill the screen before destroying a larger enemy for more points. Same? Different?
