Silent Hill based action dungeon crawler sounds awesome to me. I hope it is good.
I don't get the hardcore fanboys. Anyone old enough to care that much about a PlayStation-based franchise really should have grown out of caring that much somewhere around 2003.

I spent an hour or so with the demo the other night.
I liked what I played for the most part. Here's what I didn't like.
I am not a fan of breakable weapons. There are plenty of repair kits lying around but 1)you can only carry one at a time in the beginning and 2) it's just an added layer of tedium.
There are lots of menus. Never a good sign.
The flashlight is on turned on and off by use of the select button. It's awkward. I would have preferred they use a face or shoulder button.
I did like the dungeon crawling. I did like the combat. I would definitely pick it up for $20.
I was pleasantly surprised by the demo as well. I could see jumping at ~$20 if others are playing. That's a far cry in the positive direction from my initial "avoid at all costs" impressions when it was announced. Maybe Sega will save me $20 by getting PSO2 out before this hits $20. They probably have until the end of this month.![]()
I kind of hated the demo you guys
