I think it was something like midnight EST? I'll add you, I'm usually on a bit earlier than that.
What time are you guys playing? I was on from like, 9:30-10 last night and didn't see Pineapple.

Yea, playing at midnight isn't really an option for me 5 nights out of the week unfortunately.
Yeah I'm usually on kinda late, I work till 10:30 so I can't even get home till 11, but that 11p-2am range is when I'll usually be on. Diff if I see you on I'll send you an invite.
Thief yeah the tracking on the EX air jump is nearly perfect, it will hit from just about anywhere, and hit hard. I was getting used to your zoning with whatever character that girl is and just decided since I didn't use it much before I'd break it out to seal the deal with the last match. I totally missed you and landed in front of you doing a super, but the super you did started on the other side of the screen so I had time to get the winning jab. Good stuff!
Edit: and I think the mic issue may be from the piece stuck in your stick (heyo!) because before you had joined I was able to talk to Mech and Dipstick pretty normally (there was some echoing, but that happens), but then when I try talking to you it just loops whatever I say into a ear bleeding combo of static and electric noise.
Online has a LOT of quitters, more so than I've seen in any other fighting game. People have a bad round and flip the hell out and leave in the middle of ranked matches, it's very annoying. I send those people lovely, endearing voice messages.

Really? I haven't had a single person quit, but I haven't won as much. With Naoto I went something like 25 and 5, with Yuki I've been 5 and 5.
Yeah I did the wrong super, which sucked because it would have been unblockable too. Kanji is probably just frustrating to lose to because he does so much damage when you make one mistake. People are going to fall for his command grab and his air grab a lot and be frustrated, I know I am at it.
On the plus side for you though is that any of his moves which tend to do lots of damage are very slow. His crouching heavy is a great launcher and leads to big damage, but it's so goddamn slow that you hit me out of it 9 out of 10 times, so when it does hit I don't always have the presence of mind to follow up.
I think my big thing right now is learning the block strings and when is a good time to counter, and with what. With only 4 buttons it feels like the options are limited, but really they're not, I'm just unfamiliar with punishes so far. Sucks to block the first 12 hits of an autocombo just to get caught by the very last one which then gets linked into something big.
I never use her auto combo for some reason, I guess I just forget it exists. But she's hard to knock out of a combo without using something with invincibility or an auto guard since her persona will usually push you out of range for a larger punish. My execution is really bad, especially when it comes to dashing to the right. I just can't double tap as well with my index finger for some reason.
Anyone down for some games? If not I'll just mess around with the missions, but I would enjoy some beat downs!
Surprise that I am on losing in every player match. My execution is better in theory. But in a match it's a lot worse than in practice.
Eventually the two meet. Give it time and practice.
