Thread: 2011 NFL Season

  1. i'd also mention Alex Smith in the rookie QB class, because this is clearly not the same fellow. Obviously they signed another Alex Smith straight out of college undrafted.

  2. The smoke and mirror Lions finally clinched a playoff sport. They will probably draw the Saints and have a quick exit but I am just glade progress was made this season.

  3. Wait, so Vikings won AND AP tore his ACL? Double fucking whammy

No, if you have the opportunity to get one of the most coveted draft picks in a couple decades or win a meaningless game, you prefer the loss.

  7. Luck is going to be the next Matt Leinart.

Please, every first round draft pick is treated as the most coveted. And other than Mario Williams, who shocked people when he was picked, they've all been busts. Luck might be good, or he might be average; but either way let's not get our panties in a twist over it.

    No, not really. At all.

And whether Luck lives up to the hype is not the point-- the value comes in what people will pay, and they'll be paying quite a bit for the 1st pick this year. I'd rather dish the pick, even though it seems likely that Luck will sit behind Peyton.

  10. Im a little surprised the Bears D gave up so many points tonight. Merry Christmas indeed.
