He could have gotten him the the second round at the same spot, maybe even the third. And he ran Jay Cutler out of town.

And Brandon Marshall.
And Hillis.
He's four years younger than Alexander, has been running behind air as opposed to a HOF line, and is clearly the heart and soul of that team. There's too much talk lately about how dispensable good RBs are. I don't think the front office would be pressured to give him as much money as Alexander, either.
diff is right, though it wasn't specific to Ware. It wasn't the to five yard penalties that lost the game. It was the complete lack of pressure on Eli. He and his brother fold like a chair when you hit them, but he stayed clean. I can cover Andre Johnson if the QB is on his back.
It worked out so well the first time.
Joust and Yoshi: it doesn't matter. Once you reach the club of head coaches, you are in it for life. It doesn't matter that you were terrible, that you won nothing, that everybody hated you, that you scared away your best players. You will be floated for jobs for a long time.
Jim Mora Jr. just got hired by my alma mater for heaven's sake.
I fully expect Eric Mangini to get interviews in 1-2 years time.
Mangini is still better than some of the coaches in the NFL.
This is not correct.
I don't see how you could think anyone is worse than Jason Garrett. Yoshi's bias aside, he is a terrible head coach.
Also Norv Turner. Those are the two I think he is at least on par with.
