Garrett's problem is his ego. I have no doubt that he knows the game and how to design plays, but he gets fascinated with his own abilities too much.
Jason Garrett is a terrible head coach but he's not a locked down douche Belichick-wannabe dictator like Mangini. And McDaniels.
As far as I can tell!

At least Turner has rings as a coordinator and has made the playoffs as a head coach. He also has the worst personnel GM in the league.
edit: Would Turner really be 7-6 with the Cowboys' roster? Is there a single position where SD has the better player? Certainly not any of the skill positions.

Turner is an excellent coordinator, just not a very good HC.
The Dallas defense looked pretty good the first year Wade was here. I hope that Houston can maintain that D and not get soft.
I saw the Giants playing a lot of max protection, with 3 receivers finding holes in the Dallas zone. It's not like the Giants D wasn't getting ripped either.

Any decent QB with time is going to find holes in a zone. I'm actually surprised more teams don't use max protect for that reason.
How 'bout them Cowboys drug dealers!

This guy makes Nate Newton look like a "casual" drug user.
He is not with Cowboys any more.
