Mad Dog is the toughest motherfucker on the planet. Holy shit.
Honestly, I can't remember the last time a movie almost had me out of breath. Watching this shit is good cardio.
Indeed Dole. the theater i work at is playing it. and seeing The Raid in one of the best sounding theaters in los angeles is awesome. Its been a long while since i have seen a sold out crowd cheer at the end of a Fight Scene. All anyone can talk about is Mad Dog!

So hallway scene vs hallway scene. Which one was better. Oldboy or The Raid(the one before the machete fight.)
The hallway scene in Oldboy is impressive due to it being done in one take, but otherwise The Raid's scene is better.
Besides, Oldboy bums me out due to the octopus eating scene. Poor thing...

BTW, fuck Expendables 2. There's no way it can compare to this.

of course it cant. only thing that sucks is its going to available to more people. i was wondering why noone on tnl has seen it, than i remembered is not even on 200 screens. the damn thing launched on 15 screens. Expandables 2 will be boring and tame by comparison. i doubt ill see anyone stab a guy in the thigh, than slide the dagger down said thigh. or impale a guy's neck on a piece of broken door.
I saw this recently, and even with fucking abysmal fan-subs it was awesome. Well shot visceral violence at its best.
sequel forthcoming.

(Gareth)Evans, for starters, has been hard at work on Berandal, the official Raid sequel that will move forward with Uwais' rookie-cop character on yet another crime-fighting adventure. Evans took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to confirm that he had finally finished the screenplay. He was celebrating with a can of beer.
