Thread: Monster Hunter Tri G

  1. Nintendo DS Monster Hunter Tri G

Due this year in Japan, I'm really interested to see how one of the better looking Wii games ports to 3DS. Some general info:

-Added monsters, support characters, items, and locales over the Wii version including a new T-rex looking thing that uses radioactive ooze.
-no news of any online mode yet.
-In addition to supporting the new second analog (which has some positive impressions so far), you can control the camera with a touch-screen d-pad on a stock 3DS.
-Along with camera control the touchscreen can be fully configured for quick item select, area map, etc.

  2. I love the monster hunter.

But its definitely not the best gam eto play solo on a console when another person is on the couch by ya.

The portable versions gets me more hyped.

  3. New trailer from the Nintendo webcast thingy. Confirmed that the game is not online in Japan (neither were the PSP ones without a PS3) so anyone's guess if they'll wise up and remedy that before a US release.

    Monster Hunter: Tri Harder Pls

edit: actually I watched the video and that looked pretty rad

I guess my biggest issues with the games have been with the camera controls, and buying that horrible AAA battery add-on should fix that. Bleah.
