Finally completed TOTAN's wizard mode - it was much easier after I realized you had to manually launch the multi-balls. Duh. :P
Yeah, I like Black Hole. I've played it several times in the arcades, so I can relate to its style. Those tables from that era of pinball truely were about player skill, over a cheap loss of your ball, because of a bad bounce. They may seem pretty brutal at first, but once you get the hang of the table, it's pinball zen.

So I got to loop 3 on Theater. I accidentally crossed 10 billion and lost everything. Ev-ery-thing! It resets you to ball 1 and you keep your EoB bonus. Otherwise, the game acts like you never even played. Score goes back to 0 and the leaderboard saves at literally whatever value you stop at.Originally Posted by DirtySouth:1064720263
So much ragequit.
I was wondering about that. I've noticed for a while now that on the worldwide leaderboard, a lot of the highest scores are something like 9,999,9XX,XXX. I've "flipped" the score on the actual cabinet years ago, and I was wondering if this was going to be a true simulation and mimic that, or would it keep track of your score past 9,999,999,990. My goal during that last game was to see if flipping was possible, but like I mentioned, I derped it up right at the end. During the final ball, I had Grand Finale (3'rd loop) AND multiball lit, but then SDTM. So much fury!

TAKE MY MONEY. I DIDN'T NEED TO EAT THIS MONTH ANYWAY.We have good news and bad news to report on the issue of licensed tables. We’ve finally succeeded in negotiating all of the licenses we’d need to bring the Twilight Zone to the Pinball Arcade. This is unquestionably one of the greatest pinball tables of all time (and is currently #1 in IPDB’s user rankings). However the licenses are VEY expensive- so expensive that the table probably isn’t commercially viable. Some of you have suggested a Kickstarter project to raise money for the license costs and we’re considering this. We’d like to ask your opinion- is this a good idea? If we did it what should the rewards be for backers, and at what contribution levels? We’d appreciate your thoughts!
I'd contribute. The plus side is I get Twilight Zone, the downside is nothing happens. Get that Kickstarter rolling!

I don't understand the licence holder's here...
"We want to remake that pinball machine you licenced a few years ago...."
"Sure, but we want a boatload of money, even though we don't have any expenses, and the original table generates no cash for us at all"
That being said, Id happly pay $10 JUST for Twlight Zone.
I got Ripley's on Android too...And they just released the first pack on android, so I bought them because they have Cirqus Voltage and funhouse already, plays great on the tablet...Ill likely buy of those tables again on 360 when they finally get on there.
I'd really love to see South Park (unlikely) and they really need to get High Speed done...

“The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, you know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.” -George Carlin
They explained in a post somewhere that it's not just the rights to the table, but also the likenesses of the actors, the music, and everything else. It's a giant messy bundle of rights management, and I'm willing to be many of the rights holders just don't care if the pinball table ever sees the light of day again so long as they get their payday.

South Park is horrible! Why would you want that? I hope they release a ton of other pins before they even consider that. Late 90's/early 2000's Stern was pretty bad overall.
Twilight Zone was my all-time favorite pin (before Simpson's Pinball Party). Easily Pat Lawlor's best. I'd definitely support a kickstarter.
A Kickstarter with a code for the table as a reward is probably the best way of doing it. Otherwise I would say that the tables would just have to be priced differently, but that could bite them in the ass when nobody wants to buy a $10 table.
