Thread: The Pinball Arcade

  1. I know! Whatta buncha n00bs.

Donated $10. I'll probably get my version on PC.

    James

  2. When is the PC version of this coming out, anyway?

I've been steering clear of XBLA if Steam is ever involved, so I hope it's soon!

  3. The latest update for the Pinball Arcade Kickstarter says that the 360 version is now a go for the reward tier. If you have the game on 360 and pledge $10, you can have Twilight Zone on 360.

  4. While I'm for this, I'm curious if they really thought this through when they planned this whole thing. Their goal, as they stated, was to release tables "for years". Twilight Zone isn't even close to being the only table with multiple licenses. Are they going to have to go through this rigmarole every time they want to recreate one of these tables? They could simply stick to originals, which there are many good ones, but this will severely limit the scope of what they can release.....especially if they plan to do more Stern tables, as almost ALL of them are based on some licensed property.

I am sure it will be easier for them on some of the licensed stuff, its just EVERYONE was screaming for Twilight Zone, and CBS were greedy bastards.

That being said..I'd even accept a clone table of something with the trademarks changed and the audio re-done, as long as the play was the same...

Has the 360 verison updated yet? I was was having a killer run on funhouse last night so long on my tablet my hands were cramping, would much rather do it on a 360 controler.

  6. Plus there's a ton of non-licensed tables to port. I could spend hours linking stuff off the Pinball Database, including some of the clunkier 60s - 70s boards that have their own set of charms.

    James

  7. If they double their goal, they'll also digitize the Star Trek: The Next Generation table!

  8. Nice, upped my pledge to $25. Hope it happens, these are 2 of my all time favorite tables.

  9. And so it begins....

  10. They need to fix the tables they've done already before I donate anything. Ball(s) going through flippers is unacceptable.
