Thread: What are your top 20 movies OF ALL TIME?

  1. The 3:10 to Yuma remake was pretty good.

It really is. There are days when I'd be prepared to call Dog Day Afternoon my favorite movie ever and other days where it wouldn't crack the top twenty.

In a world of change, it's good to know this still stands. also: good to see High Noon and Ravenous as those are pretty sweet flicks.

Guys, I think we should all re-watch this. I have not watched the whole thing in 7-8 years. I want to give Berringer the benefit of the doubt this is a good movie, but I can not grasp it at this moment in time.

  4. Also: OUATITW is a great movie all on its own, but if you've a familiarity with the genre and the more popular westerns that came before it, it takes a lot of established traits and sort of..bends them. A bit of a wink and nod to those in the know.
If you find the double disc DVD somewhere, I highly recommend listening to the commentary. It's very interesting and insightful.

Add High Noon. High Noon and Stagecoach are short OUATITW and WB are long so do a double hooker night! Stagecoach/OUATITW then outnumbered night! High Noon/Wild Bunch

  7. YOU'RE THE ASSHOLE WHO SAID YOU DIDN'T FIND CANADIANS FUNNY SO I SARCASTICALLY AGREED WITH A LIST OF CANADIAN PEOPLE OF WHOM A LOT OF THEM ARE QUITE FUNNY.

edit: It didn't make my top 20 list, but if you haven't seen Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid you should, and it's on instant watch.

Blair Witch, much like Paranormal Activity, is engrossing but watchable only once. After the novelty is gone, they're both actually pretty bad.
