Soul Calibur II

comes out in japan on July 9th, im assuming my arcade will import it (since they import everything).

anyways, i did like what i've played so far and look forward to getting some more time with it and learning some of those new charaters. some of them were pretty fuckin badass.

also, can all the haters please stay out so that we can make this a good thread? thanks in advance, appreciate it.

As far as I've been told from a couple of people at Namco, July 9th is the worldwide release, not Japan only, so a lot of arcades might get it this month.

I'm definitely looking forward to rocking the house with Taki and Astaroth again. I plan on picking up Hong, Rafael and probably Cervantes when it comes out. I'm loving all of the cool little move properties that they're building into the game too. I only got to experience two of the new properties (auto-dodge and guard breaks), but I hope can I can get more info on it soon for a write-up

I have been playing SO MUCH GOD DAMNED Soul Calibur recently, trying to get back into the groove of things.

HELL YEAH! Soul Calibur rules! I think its the best fighting game. Even better than VF4. Thats just my opinion though.

I wanted to like VF4 so much. I just couldnt get into it. I do see how everyone loves it though. I just prefer Soul Calibur more. Its more fun in my opinion.

Bleh, VF4 was disapointing enough, but the PS2 version turned it into a disgrace (Most. Jaggy. Game. Ever. It looked like crap compared to the arcade).

Tekken 4....yeah, thats just filth. Im not even going to get into that
