There are imperfect pixels?
What brand and model?
Do you bother with paying extra for perfect pixels?
There are imperfect pixels?
Apparently screen manufacturing is far less perfect than you would think. Apple and Dell buy all the perfect stuff while the home Korean market gets the rejects.
Weird. I haven't seen a dead or stuck pixel in years.
pulled the trigger on this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/221111368687
I'll post impressions
I have this one.
I'm pretty sure "perfect pixel" is bullshit, or at least that's what I've read on most forums.
I have a blue pixel on one of my monitors. I haven't noticed it since a week after I bought it.
Yeah, I paid the normal price for my first one two years ago.
Then I saw it on slickdeals for $200 and ordered a second.
Awesome update.
Got the second monitor. Took apart my whole dual monitor setup beforehand. Plugged in the new one with the old plug. Works great.
Plug the old one back in and I hear a pop and a little cloud of smoke comes out the back. Fucking shit. Now it's dead. Or at least, when I plug it in I hear pops and smell burning electronics.
So now I have the one monitor sitting on my brand new desk and I think I actually like just having the one big monitor because I still have an iPad and hdmi running to the TV on the other side of the room. But the monitor that blew up had the VGA input for the 360 I keep on the desk. Ugh.
