Final Fight 3 anyone play it?

If I recall correctly this SNES game came out near the end of it's life and now is somewhat hard to find. Was it any good? I liked part 1+2 on the SNES does this one have different characters?

    Thanx

  2. Yeah, Korian, I did. The game was alright, if you like the first two FFs you'd enjoy it. Actually, Guy and Haggar were recycled for use from the first game and the only new character was this short-haired blonde. If you can dig up a copy cheap, I'd recommend it
    omg TNL epics!

  3. The game was OK. It has pretty crappy sound effects and the music is pretty lame. The option to play the game 2 player with an AI player is pretty cool. You have some SF type special moves now too. There's only 2 new characters. The name sof both slip my mind but one is some police chick and the other is some Cody look-a-like. If you enjoyed part 2, then part 3 should be pretty fun.

Actually, there's a fourth character in the game. A blonde guy named Dean, who happens to have Psycho Power.

Final Fight 3 is much better than FF2, which was just a rehash of the original. The characters has Street Fighter-like special and super moves and there a multiple routes (even though all lead to the same final level). You can also play with a computer partner, which is actually somewhat useless and oddly enough, the last boss bears a resemblance to Rolento (even though it's not really him).

The main flaw with the game was it's length. I beat the game on all four difficulty settings in one night with a friend.

Worth $5 but not much more

I LOVE this game. Sure the characters suck, and the game/box/manual/EVERYTHING features more grammatical problems than an issue of Play, but there's something so very cool about being able to do super moves in this kind of game. Well that, and the controls are simply awesome. Maybe I'll post my nearly 2 year old review of the game. By the way, I picked this game up for 50 cents at BlockBuster, along with CHRONO TRIGGER, Street Fighter Alpha 2 (SNES), and a slew of other SNES/Genesis games. I love my BlockBuster's faulty scanner. I picked up Tail in the Sun for 50 cents as well, along with the PSX rev of Darkstalkers.
