    #28 - Rhythm Heaven Gold

Definitely the worst of the three Rhythm Heaven games because of the dumb flick mechanic. Sometimes it's fine like in the updated Karate Man game but sometimes it sucks like in Big Rock Finish. Still cute and worth playing through. Finished all the mini-games, I'll probably bust it out once in a while to eventually get all Perfects. Someday.

  2. Reckoning. That makes two games beaten this year. Thats two better than last year, i think.
I liked it better than Fable, which i did like quite a bit. My biggest problem was that long, Long, LONG before i was near the end, i had already reached the level cap, had the best possible equipment that could be built, and had amassed over 3 million gold.
End boss "fight" was pathetically lame.
I put 93 hours into it. I got my $20 worth.

    #29 - Sequence (PC)

Pretty good for what it is. Think Puzzle Quest mixed with Stepmania. Beat the optional last guy and everything, moving on.

I just need to download some free iphone games...

I was looking at the Reckoning DLC, and though some of it sounds neat (castle building aspect and pirates!), the fact that they didn't increase/do away with the level cap means I have no desire to buy and play any of it. GG EA.

  6. Shin Megami Tensei - Strange Journey - After about 47 hours on a second playthrough (The first one was so bad I just restarted) beat this game with the Chaos ending. There's a lot that's really awesome about this game such as: there's roughly 300 demons, the way you get their sources is pretty cool, skills can evolve in a cool manner, theoretically you could have a pixie from the beginning with all the best skills in the end if you're lucky. Story was fantastic, and the events leading up to the ending were exciting. But a lot of the dungeons suck. Mainly, dark space areas you walk through that you can't map ever, even when you can see what's in the room (You only get the ability to see in these areas AFTER you're done with them). Traps are annoying if you don't have the medic sub app especially when they are everywhere.

Lots of backtracking at key points, but enemies are more likely to try and join you on their own if you're much stronger, so demons you may have missed will just be like "oh hey, let me into your party bro." There's also a lot you'll miss exploration, item and demon wise if you don't do most the side quests.

My biggest pet peeve though is, the demon growth in this game is really good. Skills are divided into ranks, if a demon levels up a skill may change, and can go up in rank or stay in the same (50/50). So raising a demon for a long time is great for you. Except when a demon levels up for the first or second time you'll get their source, which has their powers, or higher ranked versions of their powers that can be used in fusion. So the game, especially on the first playthrough, is you constantly changing out your demons everytime you get a source, if you like collecting shit anyways. And the way weaknesses are exploited is pretty weak in itself. Hit a weakness? Every demon of the same alignment does some extra damage. Which means while constantly switching out your demons to get the sources, you're often doing just slightly more damage and no bonus.

It was annoying because I wanted to do it all, but typing it out, it also means the game just gives you some serious choices about how you want to play the game. Collect them all or stick with your favorites, either way it's beneficial.

How is the difficulty? I want this, but I'm gunshy after Persona 2 IS.

  8. It's hard to explain, basically I played through the game one time and didn't finish it, last dungeon but a boss there is just retarded rough. So I started a second game going for a different path and was easier. But still not even 1 millionth the ease that there is in Persona 2 IS. That game is just demonbabytowndolls. No it's a difficult game, and some bosses are going to really piss you off and you're going to need to grind a little bit probably to get a demon that really helps. Just remember that it's an SMT game and Buffs/Debuffs are king (This game had the nicety to introduce a skill that increases every stat, and decreases every stat).

But yeah, this game was tough, but very rarely was it unreasonably tough. Nothing like Persona 2.

What part? It's literally the only game in the series I can still blow through.
