Yeah, Unreal has some issues. I was really impressed by it tech-wise when I played it in 2008, and it has some awesome map ideas and great music, but all that AI dodging and slow weaponry makes it drag a bit. Floaty everything, too.
Never give up! Trust your instincts!
The more I play F-Zero N64, the more impressed I am with how far this game pushes the N64 technologically. 30 cars on the track, blazing speed, and the only time it really slows down is when you get a big pileup and someone does their spin attack. Plus the soundtrack has great audio quality on a system known for its shitty sound.

Yeah, if you can beat Darkforce, then Mother Brain should go down quick. I always felt DF should have been the final boss in that game.
I'm currently playing through Arcus I-II-III on the Mega CD. It's entirely in Japanese, but the menu system is pretty straightforward and there's a cool guide for all three games available. This game is awesome, like a Shining in the Darkness on CD with anime cut scenes. How the FUCK did this not get brought over, when Wolf Team and Renovationa seemingly brought all their games over here? I'd take this over every FMV title on the Sega CD. Damn, did U.S. Sega CD gamers get screwed.
Mother Brain was a joke after Darkforce. Thankfully, the ending wasn't spoiled ahead of time. I really didn't see that coming.
