Did you get it on PSN or XBL? I would try to write an email to support or something. I know all the disclaimers say no refunds, but if anyone on the other side pays any sort of attention, you could probably get a refund.

Really don't hold your breath. I have an unusable, half-complete save because I loaded the file once on a machine with a preorder DLC that I don't have and is permanently unavailable. The file now just won't load without the file! I emailed support back when 38 existed and they did jack shit. The DLC is a mess for this and nobody wants to touch it.
