Thread: A Miserable Podcast of Secrets

  1. Had one piece of envelope art make it into an issue, too! (I probably sent in about 15). Still have that somewhere, Volume 109 from June 199...7,8, or 9? The last number is cut off on the page I ripped out.
That was my favorite part! I'd be interested in seeing yours, I sent them a few letters once and decorated the envelope. I wish I would have snapped a quick picture before sending it in.

  2. Some nerd was just in here with a Videogame Collectors Magazine. Any of you guys familiar with it?

  3. I'm so glad Nick called Mzo out on his palette pronunciation. No one jumped on him when he said it and I was really concerned.

  4. So, when you guys talked about Blu-Ray/HD-DVD I thought to myself "well duh, TNL's always backing the wrong/unpopular things"

You could make a killing by just looking at how much shit talk the forum does to a company, then invest in them. Heavily.

  5. Welcome to the internet/life

I wish we had individual threads for each podcast so we could discuss the relevant events and happenings and not continue the really shitty TNL habit of making one big-ass, catch-all thread that newcomers would find extremely annoying to follow.

    Why don't we again?

  7. The database Mzo, it's always about the database.

  8. oh man, Mzo's got it all wrong. When I used to ride the bus, there were plenty of kids playing PSPs. More than DSes anyway. Not that it proves anything, other than anecdotal or stereotyped (adults like Sony, kids like Nintendo) evidence really aren't.

I've seen thousands of kids with GBAs and DSs everywhere and maybe ONE person, not a kid, playing a PSP in the wild. Like once.

  10. I wonder if it's a regional thing then?

Out in L.A., it's easy to find some kid (under 18-20) playing their PSP. DSes? I guess less hardcore/legit/whateverthefuck, so kids don't want to be caught with one.
