You do know that you've always been able to save at any point, and now it doesn't even reset you when you do it, right?
Also this game doesn't really have any difficulty other than a little bit of thought at times. But when some of the options are ridiculous and you just want to see the text you can do it without fear or redoing 35 minutes of trial. It's pretty amazing.

When I played the first game it took me a while to figure that out. So many tears.

I don't think the Apollo game got enough love. It was really fun, just seems no one cared because everyone was raging that Phoenix wasn't the star.
AA4 is shaping up to be so much fun, and much more love to Apollo than I would have thought. But I'm still on the first case (I blame pokemons).
I liked Apollo Justice but it wasn't all that memorable for me. I'm hard pressed to remember the big plot twist, let alone the details of each case. Also, it was a bit anti-climactic: You find the big bad guy guilty in case 1, but then, like he's double guilty in the last case? Should have kept the revenge satisfaction for the end of the game IMO
I just finished case 2 and both case 1 and case 2 are my favorite case 1 and 2 out of the series. I have a hard time believing this won't be my favorite Ace Attorney game at this point. It'll seriously have to fall flat on its face and i don't think it does! From what i hear even Case 3 is good! Case 3!
and the in-game models are so good. The sprites are beautiful in the other games, but i don't even miss them. I'd even rather see the models acting out whatever instead of the anime.

The third case is probably my favorite so far. It's got an interesting premise that they haven't really used before. I liked case 2, but by the end I seriously wanted it to just be over. If I ever have to hear the word "Yokai" or "Yokai Craze" again it'll be too soon.
EDIT: I feel like the translators' heretofore valiant attempts to make this game set in California really bit them in the ass this time with case 2. I'm sure for this case they just threw up their arms and said "Alright, fuck it, they're Yokai. And it's a weird Japanese village in the mountains of Cali."
California????
