The third case is probably my favorite so far. It's got an interesting premise that they haven't really used before. I liked case 2, but by the end I seriously wanted it to just be over. If I ever have to hear the word "Yokai" or "Yokai Craze" again it'll be too soon.

The US version is in fake LA. I don't know if the games ever say anything, but i think they indicate it's in America at least, the localizers said it was California. Svensssssooooooon!

I'm constantly surprised that this game is in 3D. These models keep the same level of charm as their sprite counterparts - it's boggling!

Ace Attorney 5 Orca-defending DLC coming next week

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney -Dual Destinies- is an incredible game filled with drama, comedy, murder, mayhem, and most of all, lawyers. So many lovable lawyers. Soon it will have a mustached pirate orca as well. In this special prequel adventure, a lovable punk rock pirate girl recruits Phoenix Wright and his pal Pearls (in their very first case!) to mount the defense for her killer whale companion,. He's been accused of murder!

The case will be made available for download on November 21st for $5.99. Sounds like a small price to pay for what will likely be the greatest thing ever in a videogame ever.

Did the main game have less cases, or seem shorter in general, than past games?

Trying to determine how disgusted I should be over Capcon being Capcon.

It had 5 cases but 4 was kind of short and led directly into 5. I think all the old games had 4 cases except for the original that had the extra 5th case made for the DS, so this is par for the course with kind of a 5th extra DLC case.

I don't feel cheated is the point.

According to my logs Dual Destinies is longer than the first game by a couple of hours, and the first game is longer than the rest due to the extra chapter.


I usually hate dlc, but they gave a full game here, and if the dlc case is a full blown case and not something super short the can have my 6 bucks. That's the exact right reason for dlc.
