Thread: This Month's Haul - February, 2012

  1. I bought a ton of zoids 7 or 8 years ago for my kid and I to put together. He still has some of them on his dresser. So fun to build!
Coincidently, I picked up zoids for gba from GameStop. It cost me $.90.

Used to play the shit out of that one at a local Chuck E Cheese.

Shame that there was never a good home port.
The Lynx version is actually really good until you get to the later levels and the framerate goes to shit. I think I might have finished it once, can't remember now.

  3. I heard the version of STUN Runner on Midway Arcade Treasures 3 has weird speed issues where the game goes too fast or too slow depending on the level.

Midway sucks at porting it, apparently.

The emulation for SR blows on MAT3. Don't even bother.

is that the one that plays like super robot wars? That has zoids from all over the place? Even some of the vintage 80s ones?

Zoids toys are pretty cool. I still have the big Brontosaurs zoid from the 80s. He's walking power is good for annoying cats.

  6. I've never played it, but I knew it was worth picking up for less than a buck. Loose carts on eBay seem to go for around $20.

Damn I might have to make this guy an offer I can't see everything but I want that Magical Chase!

  8. Sapphire and Dracula X are both in that lot. Pretty crazy.

Sapphire is too risky with all the bootlegs around.

  10. True enough. I'd definitely ask for a close-up pic of the front of the disc.
