James the polls are always slightly flawed but I am referring to games that you can touch and feel.
"Online" is nice, but the difference between Amazon and Steam is pretty huge. Poll = invalid.

That's 10% of the stuff I buy nowadays. Seriously, the ratio of physical gaming media to download is 1:10, easy.

What ever store has the best deal on the game I'm looking for. If they all have it for the same price then what ever store is closest to me/passed on my way home from work.
Steam.
Because it's the best way to get PC games and fuck $60 on a 6 year old console game.
Amazon is the first choice, followed by Target and Gamestop. I especially like Gamestop for their BOGO sales on used games every so often.
If I can find a good mom and pop place that deals in used/retro games, I'll give them my business. They're a touch on the rare side these days.

Every game I've gotten in the past year is from either Steam, or an independent game store.
Wherever has the best deal. That usually is Steam or Amazon. Kmart was my go to local place last year, but they've gone to shit this year. I do not know of a mom and pop around here anymore.
I think I spent exactly $20 at GameStop last year, and that was for a new copy of SMT for PS2 with the stuffed demon, so I am sure they lost money on that one.
Amazon.
