Gravity Rush is worth buying a vita for by itself. The game is fantastic. If sony had been smart and this had been a launch game the system would have sold a hell of a lot better.

Yeah, I really like the way they chose to advance the story through the comics. The character designs in general are quite good (Raven is rad), and Kat is very likable.

The gyro-controlled sliding was coded by something that slithered out of Satan's black asshole.

I felt this way at first too. Part of the problem was that I was wildly twisting the Vita like a maniac instead of gradually turning it like a steering wheel. Once I started showing restraint I did a lot better at those sections. You can also adjust the sensitivity in settings to increase precision (much like the camera, the default felt way too high to me).

Made it to the fourth section of the city, which is huge. I'm having a lot of fun just flying around collecting gems.

I've wondered more than once if I'm the only one that snickers every time the old man sends me off on a mission by throwing open his coat, flasher-style. BEHOLD.
