True, but he's an entity made out of pure energy. Let him stay in along with all the others. This other alien I have in mind is more of a "War of the Worlds" type creature.
I wonder what they'll do with Donovan given that he's supposed to have gone to the dark side... maybe bring him back as a conflicted character with good and evil forms you can switch between. Then the game could choose the ending based on which one you made greater use of, a bit similar to the way Border Down chooses which final stage you go to.
