I have. The first half was boring, and the second half mostly 'eh' with stretches of boredom breaking it up. And all the while the movie ignored any of the ethical or moral questions such a contest would normally bring up, especially when it faces off 18 year-old adults against harmless, adorable, 12 year-old children for no other reason than to give the author an easy way to artificially generate a big emotional scene where one of them is killed off without having to actually put any effort into writing character development to get you to care instead. You know, 'cause it's always sad when cute kids die in movies, right?
This movie sucks. Period.

It very well may be!
Has Dole been known to Yoshi his movie opinions?
I just finished the book. It was kind of stupid and the love blooming on the battlefield thing was pretty cheesy (though now I know, why teenage girls love it), but it was readable and quick.
When I originally reviewed Wolverine I gave it a fairly decent write-up. I later regained my sanity and realized it sucked. The bad part wasn't that I changed my mind, but the fact that I ever liked it to begin with. I mean, fuck.
Diff...do you believe that love can bloom on the battlefield?Originally Posted by Diff-chan
