I'm not dropping $28 to wait that long. It'll get funded without me and I'll purchase it upon release.
UNLESS IT DOESN'T GET FUNDED, in which case I will toss my money into the fray.
$28 though? Nah. At that price I'll just wait and see. I doubt it'll cost more than that at launch.

He basically said he needs this money to get started and prove it's viable so he can get a real publisher.
I know I wished Konami would have given him a budget and put him back on consoles after SOTN. Let's see where this goes, I guess!
Also it doesn't matter if anyone here backs it or not, this thing is getting funded to fucking hell and back regardless.

Yup, it's already almost halfway there. I'm not worried about it.
All the right calls on that Kickstarter. And UE4's better tools combined with current gen only combined with IntiCreates higher familiarity with UE means it'll look nicer than MN9. And I like the character design.
I'll happily get this game at 30. I might kickstart it.
Almost 300k! Gonna get funded today!
Where did it say this about a publisher? I believe it, but I read the project page and didn't see this anywhere.
What a weird model, but I guess it's just everyone trying to capitalize on a new way of funding games. It always sounds like just a list of things that they know will get people excited.
Has there ever been a console game with a different physical edition, like this project is promising? That doesn't seem right. I could see the regular game getting packed with a DLC voucher, but it seems much harder to make 2 different products.

I hope the backer exclusive swordwhip and boss get voted to be standard.
It won't affect me since I'm backing for 60, but it'd be nice.
