Ubisoft are the creators and if they didn't want to make it they wouldn't put up a KS.

I give to KS because they need the funds to make the game be what it should be. That and only that is the value of KS to me. Otherwise I'll wait and look at trailers and read reviews like I always would.

Me too. But this is at best just holding a game for ransom and at worst a pure grift, asking people to pay for something they would absolutely make either way.
