While you didn't play it, I know what Korly and I played was either way early, or super buggy. We broke the debug console a few times. It seemed nice enough but the hits held no weight and the characters moved sluggishly.

  2. Yeah, it was balls awful. I don't think the final version is going to be any good either.

  3. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt, but you're right.

  4. It looks like a worthy competitor for my gaming dollar.

  5. I get what they're trying to do here - everything's so 80s it hurts. The animation looks nice enough as a 3D game, but the trade off is everything feels so floaty and slooooooooooow. Which, for a beat em up isn't a good thing.

  6. At the very least, I look forward to downloading the soundtrack for free off the Internet.

Let me introduce you to my friend Virtua Fighter...

edit: I hope I made chux vibrate.

  8. You mother fucker.

QFMFT. That's the one part of Neon I actually like.

IBTN about sluggish movement. What K&C have said about this one hardly makes me want to give it a chance. When walking, Billy & Jimmy seem like they're trudging through treacle. This is starting to seem like the PS2 Golden Axe remake, only with okay graphics, some corny elements I'd rather not see in a DD game (high-five! LAWL), and GREAT music.

Note to Sega: If for some reason you outsource an official Streets of Rage remake, DO NOT allow the developer to take it down this road.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  10. I thought it was Bimmy and Jimmy.
