Any of you familiar with Hell Night?

    From wiki:
"Hellnight, known as Dark Messiah (ダークメサイア?) in Japan, is a first-person survival horror video game[1] developed and published by Atlus Co. in collaboration with Konami in 1998. The game's popularity was low, possibly because it wasn't released outside of Japan and Europe and had little media attention, however the game did get a small cult following due to the increasing popularity of horror games in recent years. The game was released in Japan under the title Dark Messiah and released as Hellnight in Europe."

That looks pretty cool. I've never heard of it before now though.

  2. I just started playing through Herc's Adventures. I've not played it since I saw that I could get $50 for my Saturn version on eBay 14 years ago.
Such a fun game. I wish this Lucasarts was still around.

  3. OH!
Hell Night is VERY cool. It's like a mix of Clock Tower and D. I really like it.

I just remembered I want to play Elemental Gearbolt.

  5. You can find all the secret chalices and win the prize from Vic Ireland.

    I really liked that game.

I recently started watching this dude Metal Jesus Rocks on youtube. At first I thought he was just another asshole, but I'm warming up to him. His hidden gems for systems series was pretty legit.

  7. Is there a system host to more weird games than the PS1?

  8. Have you seen the not really pinball but sort of is game called Paranoiascape?

  9. I have now. Yikes.

    I want it.

Thanks to SSJN's new index thread, I was actually able to find this!

Sony is running a poll for the PlayStation's 20th Anniversary regarding the Best PlayStation game. It's a pretty amazing list when you see it in that format. You can vote for two, which should make it easier, but I still can't get there.

Final Fantasy Tactics, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Tomb Raider have all been remade to varying degrees of success.

The most obvious choice might be Symphony of the Night, which is a powerful statement, because it would mean the captain of Castlevania's JV team is still better than anything else out there.

Dino Crisis 1 and 2 are calling my name, but which one do I pick?

Einhänder is one of the best console-exclusive shooters ever.

Vagrant Story might be Square's most under-appreciated JRPG.
