While I don't care for either of those game, millions of people do/did. Did you really expect a game or series that no one bought to win?

The results were predictable. In fact, I am actually pleasantly surprised that FFVII didn't win. That doesn't mean it's not bad though.

edit: A PS2 one would likely be worse.

Those games are all great. Crash 2 is better than Warped, though. I thought this was the general view. Guess not.

Namco probably felt entitled since they pretty much made Virtua Racing in 1988 with Winning Run but it wasn't as big of a hit.

Mustn't have been too bad a performer, it got 3 sequels.

MGS deserves it, so the right game came out on top. FFVII is beloved by people who aren't me, but I get it. Bandicoot's a weird one, I don't think I even played "Warped".

MGS isn't even an original game. It's basically a remake, not that anyone who voted for it knew that.
