Were those the players that let you play SNES quality games on it?

  3. If by "snes" quality you mean "better than N64 but not as good as Dreamcast", then yes.

I don't like the tone you're carrying boy.
Maybe we will just skip this one!

    just kidding.

No worries, chief. It wasn't a knock on your choice. Just a testament to the flick's popularity.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.

  5. except W.D. Richter wrote that screenplay.

Looks like I learned something new today... guess it was already written and he was brought in to "modernize" it. Learning is fun.

Since when is SNES a knock against something? It's better than anything else on any player outside of a PS3 anyway... I just remember hearing rumblings about it, but never saw one before. What are the Buckaroo games like?

  8. First, can you please stop bumping the other thread? Carry that conversation in this one. That one is old and moldy. This one is fresh!

Second, there was no buckaroo game. One of the gimmicks of the Nuon was that it would allow special features on dvds that normal dvd players couldnt access. Since the technology never caught on, there were only a few " nuon enhanced" dvds released. Bedazzled was one. Dr. Doolittle 2 and Planet of the Apes were the other two.

So what were the features on Buckaroo then? I always thought it was a game... maybe I was just figuring it was only for games since I heard about Pong and stuff being on the players.

A watermelon shows up and you push something. Then something happens.

This is what I remember anyway.
