Thread: Cyberpunk 2077 (Platforms TBA)

  1. The Cyberpunk RPG was fucking brutal. Characters died at the drop of a hat in that game, even worse than the Shadowrun pen and paper RPG if you can believe it.

I always liked Netrunner, the CCG from Wizards of the Coast based on the Cyberpunk universe.

Was an amazing game even without taking into the source material.

    I'd love an IOS version!

  3. I will be there day 1, I love all things Cyberpunk and hopefully it will spark a trend of more sci fi influenced games rather than the boring, generic military shit that gets shoved down our throat every year.

  4. Gunplay seems to be easier to make than melee combat in games, so this should be pretty good the whole way through. Count me in as interested.

Personally I'd rather they have licensed Snow Crash as that could use a good visual adaptation, but hey.

  5. Make it into a terrible MMO.

  6. And the whole game in teal and orange.

Cyberpunk will remain faithful to its source material, traversing the world but focusing on a specific venue pivotal to the franchise, Night City. Cyberpunk will have an "open, living world" with more customization options than players had with Geralt in The Witcher games. Players will be able to change their stats, equipment, implants and more.

The role system comes straight from the pen-and-paper Cyberpunk, and "as opposed to the regular fantasy set-up with mages, warriors and archers, we're going for something different," Momot says. "In Cyberpunk, each character role will offer a set of special skills that will impact your stats in many different ways."

  9. I have an erection.

  10. So this is a sandbox/open world game. Sounds good to me!
