It's one of the few FPS that I played, let alone enjoyed.
I've tried pushing it on people, but I always get asked about the multi.
Everyone seems to want strict co-op or deathmatch. It's sad.

There will be a lot fewer games for me to buy.

Now that you mention it, if you're talking true FPS, as opposed to BioShock or Dishonored stuff, I can't think of one I've actually finished solo except this any time recently. That genre is the western equivalent of JRPGs to me.

edit: I take that back, I finished a couple of the earlier CoD games in single player, but this beat the shit out of them for sure.

I just hope that one day they get to a sequel or at least a DLC that closes off the open ended ending, I hate it when games do that and don't get any follow up whatsoever.

I guess I can't blame them to a degree, co-op seemed like such a glaring omission given that you always had another NPC with you and the built in score would have made it even cooler. Deathmatch would have been pretty interesting to see as well.

Played normal team death match for an hour and right now I'd say it sucks. Only one main weapon is dumb. Levels are too big. No locust team is not as fun, makes it too hard to see and hear what teams which. Everyone getting a grenade at start is dumb. Chainsaw takes way too long to start. Sawed off is shitty. No reason to use anything but Gnasher.

Looks nice at least.
