MK has always been awful, technically. Every game even slightly related to that engine has and will always be awful.

I liked what they did with the story in MK and the fatalities are always fun. Did they only have one per character last time around? I remember something was surprisingly bad...

Every character in MK9 has access to two fatalities, one babality and one stage fatality.
