It's reskinned MK9, with a good story. I didn't have a positive experience with mk9 online.

Yeah by the time it's $20 it's likely to have been re-released again in a "fuller" edition similar to what they did with Mortal Kombat.

That made me check on Amazon and it's $17 right now for the Komplete Edition. That's somewhat tempting just to run through the story and then never touch it again.
