Fidelity/Platonic loss. He losses character and it's throw away derailment without substance. I get it though. This is a fantasy relationship with an older accomplished man from the perspective of a young woman, Sofia Coppola.

Also, I liked this a lot more than Somewhere, mostly because I have an extreme aversion to anyone in the Fanning family, they make me want to puke in my mouth, so I refuse to watch that movie ever again.
