I can download a game from Steam to any PC I own and play it in offline mode without it bothering me. I prefer GOG, obviously, but Steam isn't a problem at all.

Why would you prefer GOG if the alternative didn't possess some sort of deficiency? I'll concede that the Steam approach is far better than the always-on bullshit that will cause me to miss the new Sim City. But an ass raping from a considerate gentleman with impeccable hygiene is still an unwanted cock in the ass.

THQ comes in second place for Darksiders and the Saints Row series.
Yeah, that is better than Darksiders and Saints Row combined. I so wish there was a Steam version.
Either you never played Saints Row 3 or you don't actually believe what you just typed. Saints Row 3 was the most fun open world game ever (not the best, the best was Red Dead Redemption). If you haven't tried it, forget the stupid marketing and find a way to at least play the first 30 minutes. Seriously.
I have not played 3, but the reason is that 1 and 2 were just "meh" to me. I don't like the "dumb fun" concept or the gang theme. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's not for me. I couldn't even pull the trigger when it was 75% off on Steam about a week ago. It's also worth noting that Stuntman may be the best driving game of this generation, and that is a genre I really like. It's right up there with Hot Pursuit and Split/Second.
The real reason Yoshi doesn't like it is because there are black people in it.
If it's like the first two, the default character is a cracker. And I'm pretty sure every GTA had black people in it.
