That's what an upconverter is for! Although if all you're going to play is VS, then it doesn't much matter.
Capcom gonna Capcom. Iron Galaxy's specialty is feeding CPS/2/3 games into their emulation/GGPO machine and spitting these out (Magic Sword/Final Fight, MSHvSF/MvC, SF3OE, and now this). AFAIK VS2 and VH2 never came out in English, so they'd run into issues with the platform holders over releasing untranslated content. The original DS/Vampire isn't on there because Hunter makes it completely obsolete.
And speaking of the PS2 compilation, I still preferred playing the Saturn game to it because it suffered from a bad case of the 480i uglies.

This one is definitely obnoxious. I've gotten everything but the final standing jab a couple of times. You can do it how you were trying, you just need to be faster. Try overlapping your first back input with the standing fwd.
There may be a shortcut like pressing back, st. fwd, back, then finishing normally.
Finally played my first few ranked matches. Getting destroyed all up in this piece.
Seriously. I am getting housed.

Super Arcade streaming a VS tournament!
I've been anticipating this release since the game was announced so I bought this yesterday and been playing mostly 3.
Now why do I continue to buy fighters that are eternal time sinks I don't know but I'm a fan of the franchise and want to see a new version released by Capcom so I did my part. I probably won't be doing a great deal of online play until I re-familiarize myself with the game's mechanics but I may do a few quick matches depending on who wants to play.
So far I think it's great that the PS3 and 360 have such a great library of fighters to choose from and just play online.

I do love that, and that I have good sticks for both.
