I might have a hard time passing up on VO despite the 360 already having both sequels.

I have 3 of those on Saturn, and the other 2 are resoundingly mediocre. Pass.

These are being ported by the Sega AM conversion team (Afterburner Climax, VF5:FS, Daytona, VOOT, Virtual On Force, etc)

Daytona was a pretty great port and very much not a boring old emulation package.

I see no reason for any of this. Those old 3D fighters don't hold up even a little bit.

If these are handled with the care of the Daytona port I'm in for at least 3 of the games. Fighting Vipers in particular looks like hot ass on the Saturn, and just like the VOOT release I can finally play Virtual On without huge expensive twinsticks.
