Nice. Turtles in Time is fun, never played it before a week ago.

Black Friday ads seem like a bust for 3DS XL so I redeemed some Shopko coupons to pick one up for a $180. Kinding it so far, just need to get off my ass and transfer data to a larger SD card, and for some reason my entire DSiware catalog didn't transfer but can be redownloaded via eshop. Weird.

  3. Made a road trip to the retro store and got the following!

    Master System:

    - Cyborg Hunter (complete)
    - Hang-On/Safari Hunt (complete)
    - Teddy Boy (card version, complete)

    NES (all loose):

    - 1943
    - Alpha Mission
    - Low G Man
    - Ninja Gaiden II
    - Street Fighter 2010
    - Super Mario Bros. 3
    - Target Renegade
    - Teack & Field II
    - To the Earth
    - Xevious

    SNES (loose):

    - New SNES console (my old one's video processor died)
    - Contra III
    - Cybernator
    - Super Game Boy

  4. If you don't mind me asking, what was the total (want to see where my prices fall in compared to others)?
Purchased at full price (I'd most likely have thrown in TTE and T&FII), that would have cost $150.

  5. $132 is what I paid, but I know the owner and he gave me a discount.

  6. Had a tremendous haul at B-Thrifty in terms of both stuff and comedy. I was just going to walk up there, but one of my renters, Sherry, was going to 7-11 so she offered to take me. We got there, and I noticed that the complete NES set behind glass was still there, so I got it along with a nice black and white tiger-print leather jacket. Since it was 50% off day, the NES cost $17 and the jacket was $25. Then we spent a while looking for a bookshelf, which they didn't have, but they did have A SLEW OF OLD ARCADE CABINETS. Lethal Enforcers and Tekken 3 caught my eye, along with a Shinobi machine that was turned off but had a terrible burn-in of the title screen on it anyway.

Then I checked out the electronics section in the back and got a duke Xbox pad for $2.50 and an Xbox DVD remote for what wound up being nothing since it didn't have a price tag and the clerk didn't feel like making a price for it with massive lines forming. While in line to check out, Sherry decided to look in a cart in front of her full of shirts - it had a Winnie the Pooh one that she grabbed, but then I told her it MIGHT be someone else's cart since it had a small soda in it, so she apologized, I laughed, and determined that this was officially a perfect start to a day. Then I shopped for some groceries and someone ANOTHER renter there who was incredibly happy to see me despite...just seeing me last night. So yeah, entertaining day so far. Oh, and I got Glee's first season for $5.
