Light Steam sale for me. Only bought Hotline Miami and The Witcher 2. Hotline is definitely a favorite this year for sure.

e: yeah you can really tell this is just an arcade rom, but the netplay is solid (seems to use vf5fs' code, so I'm sure vf2 is the same)

Picky's theme is my favorite.

I went to the local video store, one closer to my regular store, but the guy's prices are all over the place. He had a lot of NES games I wanted but wouldn't pay for ($30 for TMNT 2? LOL). I did find some cheap games though. I got:

- Powerblade, NES (loose)
- Dr. Chaos, NES (loose)
- Goonies II, NES (loose)
- TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan, Game Boy (loose)
- Castlevania Adventure, Game Boy (loose)

Castlevania is worse than I remember. Simon moves like a crippled snail trying to slither through tar in January. Waay too slow to be fun. The Goonies looks great though. The control is tight, the quest seems fun, and the password isn't typically NES retarded.

I still like Castlevania Adventure, mostly for the music. It is slow as fuck, but it's pretty short.

Castlevania Adventure was mindblowingly awesome when it came out, shortly after the Game Boy was released. I don't think it's any slower than any other early CV game.
