NFS? Dopey "jackspots", dopey online mini games while waiting to race - some of which require EVERYONE to do a certain thing before a race starts, bad interface that distracts you with notifications while driving, hard to figure out where to go in time to actually make the turn, poor interface to choose cars to race with and driving to a race almost always results in cops chasing you, makes more sense to crash than drive over spike strips because crashing resets you and spike strips damage your tires for the length of the chase which is just plain stupid, top 10 most wanted were all beat within 1-3 tries, etc...

Yeah, most of those are fixed (the 'boss' AI is pretty bad though).

I was wondering if that was just the Vita version. Motherfucker was crashing all over the place for no reason.

No I meant in Horizon. Yeah, in MW, it is dreadful and it costs you because then you have to find them again.

There are players; the problem is they mostly drive like crap with other cars on the road.

Just started this and can't wait to spend more time with it. Anyone tried the Microsoft wireless speed wheel with it? I got one recently and tried it for maybe 1 hour tonight...so far I am not a fan. I'm all over the road and just can't get a feel for the steering. Gamepad is definitely my comfort zone. I may try the wheel for another hour tomorrow but if I can't get used to it by then, forget it.

I've ordered this game almost a month ago from the Microsoft Store when they had the black friday sale for $15 and I've been having so many problems just getting the damn game.

At first they sent it via UPS (which won't even deliver to my apt building), then when I try to stop the shipment UPS tells me that Microsoft shipped it so that after 3 attempts the package goes back to the warehouse no matter what. So after calling and calling Microsoft India and waiting for weeks for the whole warehouse situation to clear up so that they can ship the game back to me, they then tell me that the money has been refunded to my account, I was fucking furious.

So I called again to India and they have the balls to tell me that they can't honor the black Friday sales price and that I would have to pay extra for the current sales promotion of $39.99 which would be $24 more although they said they would credit me the $16 I paid for it. So before me being very close to cursing them out the call drops and unfortunately I have to get back to work.

Luckily shortly after I got an E-mail from some corporate guy saying that he's looked into my case and that he would honor the original sales price if I bought the game over for the current price and then he would refund the difference but Christ I've never had such a hard time with ordering a freaking game.

P.S. UPS is a horrible shipping method.

Will - sorry to hear that, sounds like a massive headache. I also got the game from the MS store on Black Friday but it went smoothly in my case.

Put in another 2/3 hours today and it's a lot of fun so far. I did give up on the speed wheel though as it seems awkward to me and I don't want to spend more time trying to get used to it.
